A 13-year-old girl has been charged after she allegedly seriously assaulted another young girl at a school on the NSW south coast this week.
Police said the alleged attack happened about 1.40pm on Tuesday at a school in Bega.
The injured 13-year-old girl was rushed to South East Regional Hospital Bega with injuries to her face.

Following investigations, officers arrested another 13-year-old girl at Bega Police station around 7.30pm last night.
She was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm.
The girl was granted conditional bail to appear at a children’s court on Wednesday 18 July.
