Teenager charged with drug trafficking on the Gold Coast

An 18-year-old Queensland man has been charged with drug trafficking after he was linked to an alleged ice syndicate that operated in the state’s southeast.

The man from Zilzie, northeast of Rockhampton, is accused of sourcing methylamphetamine and MDMA from the Gold Coast-based drug ring, along with supplying firearms and ammunition to another person.

The teenager, along with another 18-year-old and a 17-year-old, will face court next month over charges stemming from a Crime and Corruption Commission probe that also netted accused Hells Angel bikie gang member Vadim Volkov.
