Teens hold up cabbie north of GC

A taxi driver has escaped injury after being held up by a couple of teenagers north of the Gold Coast on Tuesday night.

Police say around 8.45pm two teenagers got into a taxi parked on Station Road in Loganlea and threatened the 25-year-old driver who handed over his cash.

The teens ran off along Carnival Street.

The first is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, with solid build and about 18 years old wearing a white hoodie and gold watch.

The second has a dark complexion, with a slim build and is around 16; he was wearing a black tee shirt and black cap.
