Teen’s jaw broken after armed men storm Logan home in terrifying robbery

A young man has been rushed to hospital with a broken jaw after three armed men stormed a home at Marsden overnight.

Shortly after 11pm, the trio, believed to be armed with firearms and a knife, forced their way into the Coolmunda Street house and threatened the 19-year-old male resident.

The men then demanded keys to a shed before assaulting the teen in the side of the face and head.

Police said the men, who remain on the run, got away with sum of cash and personal items.

The first man is described as Pacific Islander, mid 20s, with a solid build, short dark hair and wearing dark clothing.

The second man is described as Pacific Islander, tall with an olive complexion, mid 20s, wearing dark clothing, a balaclava covering his face and a tattoo running up and over his right eye.

The third man is described as Pacific Islander, with a slim build and dark complexion.
