Teens seriously injured after Honda hits tree on NSW South Coast

TWO teenagers have been airlifted to hospital following a single vehicle crash on the NSW South Coast.

The accident happened at Sanctuary Point, south of Nowra, shortly before 8 o’clock on Tuesday night.

Police say a Honda CRV lost control around a bend on Leumeah Street and slammed into a tree.

The occupants of the Honda, a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old woman, were seriously injured in the collision.

They were both treated at the scene before being airlifted to hospital where they remain today.

A crime scene was established and investigations into the crash are continuing.
