A group of teenagers is believed to be responsible for a large beach fire in Burleigh overnight.
It broke out around 1.00am, after a bonfire spread to beach shrub, lighting up around 30 metres of bush.
Multiple fire crews attended and took around 45 minutes to get the blaze under control.

Luckily, no injuries were reported.
Police were also on scene, though it’s unclear if any arrests were made.
In a video taken by a witness at the scene, a person is seen trying to throw water on the flames, before firies arrived.
It’s understood police officers told witnesses it appeared a group of teens may have been responsible.
