Teens undergo surgery after being stabbed in knife fight

TWO teenage boys are in hospital, undergoing surgery after being stabbed in the arm, leg and abdomen in a frenzied attack on Sydney’s lower North Shore.

Emergency services were called to reports of two people being stabbed during fight Spofforth Street at Cremorne around 12.30am.

Officers arrived to find a 17-year-old boy with stab wounds to his arm and leg, and another teen, also 17, with wounds to his abdomen.


Both boys were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital where remain in a stable condition this afternoon after undergoing surgery.

A third 17-year-old boy was arrested at the scene and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for treatment to a possible head injury.

He has since been charged with two counts of wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to front a children’s court tomorrow.
