TWO teenage girls have been winched to safety after being washed off rocks on North Stradbroke Island.
The two 15-year-old’s were swimming at Point Lookout when they got into trouble around 12.30pm.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to the scene to winch the girls off the rock platform.

Both girls have since been airlifted to safety and are on dry land where they are being assessed by paramedics.
One of the two teens was seen with visible injuries to her arms and legs.
She was however still able to stand, seen limping while being escorted to a waiting ambulance.
Fortunately, both girls are believed to have escaped serious injury.
