Tempers flare over missing flight MH-370

10 MALAYSIA AIRLINES staff have reportedly been barred from leaving a Beijing hotel for 10 hours by relatives of those still missing from flight MH-370.

The airline claims its employees were unable to leave a ballroom at the Lido hotel in Beijing, also saying one staff member was kicked in the leg in a confrontation two days earlier.

The latest incident was sparked when a Malaysian government official failed to brief around 60 relatives at a meeting on Thursday, sending it into chaos.

The airline says it has filed a police report on the incident.

Family members are losing their patience and have repeatedly flared their tempers at the hotel where they’ve been put up by the airline since the plane vanished on March 8.

The jet disappeared from radars while en route to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur and is believed to have crashed somewhere in the Indian Ocean.

A preliminary report into the flight’s disappearance is expected to be released as early as next week.
