A 17-year-old student has been charged with murder after allegedly opening fire inside a Texas school.
Ten people have been confirmed dead, mostly students at Santa Fe High School, with another ten injured.
Students, who had just arrived at the school for their Friday classes, fled in fear around 8am on Friday after fire alarms triggered a full evacuation.

Dimitrios Pagourtzis has been charged with capital murder, with more charges likely to come, after it was revealed he had also allegedly ‘booby-trapped’ the school with explosive devices.
It brings the number of shootings on US school campuses to 40 in 2018 alone and has once again prompted calls for the Government to “do something”.
“We need to do more than just pray for the victims and their families,” Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, said.
“It’s time in Texas that we take action to step up and make sure this tragedy is never repeated ever again in the history of the state of Texas.”
It’s believed Pagourtzis used his father’s firearms.
