Tenth man charged with murder of Gold Coast bikie Shane Bowden

A tenth man has been charged with the execution-style murder of Gold Coast bikie Shane Bowden.

The 26-year-old Bellbird Park man, who police allege is a member of the Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang, was taken into custody this morning.

He has since been charged with one count of murder and is due to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 2.

Shane Bowden was gunned down while driving into the garage of his Pimpama home in the early hours of October 12, 2020.

The Finks bikie was returning home from the gym when his attackers pounced, firing up to 21 gunshots through his vehicle around 12.20am.

Investigations into the murder are continuing, with police appealing for anyone with additional information which may assist and provide further closure for Mr Bowden’s family to come forward.
