The cultural events worth checking out on the GC today!

If you love free, family fun (who doesn’t?) you can’t beat the Gold Coast this week!

There are so many cultural events to check out all over the city, with Festival 2018 and Bleach* offering up an array of entertainment each day. Plus many Gold Coast venues are also going all out with live music and themed events!

What: Don’t miss the world’s first time-travelling dance party for kids! Boogie through 60 years of pop music, with plenty of bubbles, balloons and surprises for young and old.

The Spirit of Churaki
What: An epic music production inspired by the story of Churaki; an Aboriginal man heralded as the Gold Coast’s first surf lifesaver.

Super Souvenir
What: The GC has a glorious tradition of the tacky souvenir. The Super Souvenir project takes a fresh look at these little talismans of memory that generations of people took home with them after their holiday in the sun.

Party Pasifika
What: The party continues on the Celebration Lawn tonight with music by The Koi Boys, DJ sets, roving Pacific Island and Haka performances, games and prizes and of course GC2018 live on the big screen.
