The Gold Coast Mayor’s Christmas Carols to be broadcast around Australia

Gold Coasters will be able to relive all the highlights of the Mayor’s Christmas Carols, when it is broadcast on Channel 7 this weekend.

While wild weather on Saturday evening forced the cancellation of the event halfway through, audiences will be delighted to know the headline acts will still feature in the television special.

Kate Miller-Heidke, Dami Im, and Luke Kennedy hit the HOTA stage to perform a few numbers each for the cameras after the storm had passed.

Locals will be able to enjoy all the festive tunes in the one-hour special on Channel 7 and 7Plus at 7pm this Saturday 11 December.

For those who want to sing along with a crowd, the carols will be broadcast on a big screen on Surfers Paradise Beach near Lifeguard Tower 34 on Friday 17 December at 7pm.

While the rest of the country will get to enjoy the event on their TV screens on Christmas Eve at 3.30pm on 7two, and Christmas Day at 10.30am on Channel 7.
