The film follows four British students who were out here on their gap year, they visited local theme parks while they were here including Wet N Wild.
Ms Coddington said the quartet really epitomised the youth traveller and that age group and they had a fabulous time.
They had a variety of things to say about their visit. One character, Simon, recalled that “I noticed there were a number of beautiful women there, though they didn’t notice me, but that’s ok. I’m used to that”.
Ms Coddington said Tourism Events Queensland joined forces with STA Travel to put together a brochure, which highlighted things for gap year travellers to see and do.
The tongue in cheek guide has been launched in the UK and in it Jay said anyone who didn’t like the Gold Coast “is a twat”.
Tourism and Events Queensland advised that we welcomed over 200,000 visitors from the UK last year and the youth segment is really important market for the Sunshine State.
