Jeff Horn will leave the MGM Grand without his championship belt, but with a tonne of respect. Unlike most, Horn has made a career of upsetting the odds, and has been financially compensated for his efforts. Well done, @jeffhornboxer #CrawfordHorn

EARLIER @ 10.00 AM Sunday| Brisbane boxing superstar Jeff Horn is hoping to defend his WBO World welterweight title when he takes on American Terence Crawford in a much-anticipated fight in Las Vegas today.
The former Brisbane school teacher, who shot to worldwide fame when he defeated Manny Pacquiao at Suncorp Stadium last year, has battled through a tough week in the US which saw him given a training gym with no air-conditioning and a weigh-in scare just a day before the big fight.
But given his fighting nature within, there’s no doubt the hurdles have only made the 30-year-old stronger.
As he takes to the ring in the fight capital of the world, there’s no doubting The Hornet will do us proud.
Horn and Crawford’s pay per view fight will be broadcast on Foxtel Channel 507 today.
