The official trailer for the Lion King has been released and we’re crying – it’s fantastic.
The original story line has been kept the exact same – which is perfect – because it really did not need to change.
However, it’s all in REAL LIFE… well… a photorealistic computer animated remake. But it looks SUPER real!

All the animals talk and sing, just like the 1994 original!
Timone and Pumbaa continue to be the funniest characters we’ve ever watched… plus they’ve got Seth Rogan to voice Pumbaa! What a fit!
The trailer shows us a little snippet of the pair’s ‘in the jungle’ scene and it sparks excitement to say the least.
That Seth Rogan casting choice probably would have been our pick for favourite – except Beyonce was cast as the voice of Nala (Simba’s childhood pal and love of his life)
The remake is the third of four live-action reimaginings coming from Disney this year, alongside Dumbo, Aladdin and Maleficient: Mistress of Evil.
The Lion King will be released in Australia on July 19.
If you haven’t seen the trailer yet… today’s a good day for you.
