Police are on the hunt for an armed thief who held up a Marsden service station with a hammer on Thursday.
According to initial reports, the man entered the Browns Plains Road servo at around 4.20pm armed with the weapon and made demands for cash.
The two women working at the time complied with his demands and the thief fled the store with a sum of cash.

It’s believed he made his getaway on a bicycle.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
