Thieves smash through Gold Coast servo to snatch cigarettes

Investigations are underway after a service station was robbed on the northern Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called to a business along Pimpama Jacobs Well Road around 2.20 am, following reports of a break-in.

Early inquiries have found that the front glass doors were smashed in, and a quantity of cigarettes was stolen.

It’s not clear exactly how many perpetrators may have been involved.

Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
