Third person arrested over dramatic Gold Coast police chase

Police are speaking with a second man after an alleged stolen vehicle failed to stop for police on the Gold Coast yesterday.

Yesterday around 11.25am it will be alleged police sighted a stolen utility on Taveuni Street at Burleigh Waters displaying stolen number plates.

It will be alleged the vehicle was then driven at high speed in a dangerous manner at Palm Beach and Tugun.

The vehicle was later located in Highfield Drive at Merrimac.

A 18-year-old Elanora man was located this morning by police and is currently assisting police with inquires.

Yesterday a 19-year-old Tallebudgera man and a 22-year-old Broadbeach Waters woman where charged in relation to this matter.
