Thousands of homes and businesses lose power on the Gold Coast
ENERGEX crews are working hard to restore power to more than two thousand homes and businesses on the Gold Coast.
At 3.20pm, a total of 2379 customers were without electricity across three different suburbs.
Power was cut to 2122 properties in Labrador around 2.30pm, while a further 255 properties lost power in Arundel. An additional two properties are affected in Biggera Waters.
Energex crews say they are investigating the cause of the outage, with an update expected by 5pm.
