Thousands of StarTrack delivery drivers will strike today, over ongoing pay and conditions dispute.
It’s understood around 2,000 drivers will walk off the job, meaning many packages won’t be able to be delivered around the country.
There were concerns that this could impact the delivery of vital coronavirus vaccines, but the company has assured that all essential goods will still be moved.

Workers from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, the ACT, Western Australia and Tasmania are participating.
The Transport Workers Union says it’s all because StarTrack has reportedly refused to provide job security guarantees to address rampant outsourcing.
Various press conferences will be held around the country throughout today.
The strike action is due to end at midnight tonight.
