Thousands of homes without power
ALMOST 2000 properties are without power in Southport and Labrador.
Energex has confirmed, power lines have come down on Marine Parade in Southport. Crews are investigating the best way to repair the fault.
People are urged to stay away from the power lines and if they see any other fallen lines to contact the Energex emergency number: 13 90 62.
There are also reports of traffic lights out on Marine Parade in Southport. The intersections with North Street as well as Stevens Street have been affected.
