Thousands of Jellyfish return to Gold Coast waters
BIG blue jelly fish have made a return to the Gold Coast in ridiculous numbers.
Thousands can be seen in the water off the southern end of the Coast.
Swimmers and surfers are urged to take care in the water as the jellyfish harbour lice which can cause skin to itch.
The correct treatment if you are stung is to rinse the area with warm water until the swelling goes down, then ice it.
