Three charged after allegedly breaking into Gold Coast home

Three people have reportedly been arrested after allegedly trying to break and enter a home in Hope Island overnight.

Police were called to an address on Sickle Avenue around 6.40pm, following reports three to four people were trying to break into the property.

There are reports the group were trying to steal copper wire, and that they may have been aged in their teens, though Queensland Police were unable to confirm this information.
