Three children have tragically died after a house fire in the Hunter Valley.
Emergency services are still working at the scene, though police have already announced they’ll conduct an investigation into what may have sparked the fatal blaze.
Fire fighters were called to the Singleton property around 3.30am, after reports the house was well alight.

Neighbours of the Brittliffe Close had reportedly attempted to help get the flames under control, by using garden hoses.
A boy – whose age is unknown – was found deceased in the building, while two girls – ages also unknown – were taken to Singleton Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
A 31-year-old woman and an eight-year-old boy were briefly treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, before being taken to Singleton Hospital.
Once fire fighters have deemed the scene safe, police and fire investigators will work together to identify where and how the fire started.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
