Three children taken to hospital after consuming sleeping pills at child care centre

IT has been revealed that three children allegedly consumed sleeping pills at a child care centre in Canberra.

The early learning centre has been found in breach of national regulation after three children were rushed to hospital in July after allegedly consuming the pills.

The ACT industry regular has now ordered remedial measures be taken by the centre, including keeping medications in a locked container after the authority found they had not taken adequate measures to ensure staff followed its policies.
