THREE drivers are dead after veering off the road and into a tree in separate accidents across Victoria.
The first fatality occurred at Morwell, in the state’s Gippsland region, on Saturday afternoon.
Police said a car hit a tree on Princes Drive around 3.30pm, killing the man behind the wheel.

The driver is yet to be identified. He was the only person travelling in the car.
Emergency services were then called to the second crash around 8.30pm, 230km east of Melbourne.
Similar to the first accident, police said a vehicle struck a cluster of trees along Briagolong Road at Stratford.
The male driver died at the scene and is yet to be identified. He was the only occupant in the car.
Then, just after 5am on Sunday, a car collided with a tree on Gladstone Road, in Melbourne’s southeast.
The male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene. He too is yet to be identified.
