Three hospitalised after car slams into tree in Gold Coast hinterland

Three people have escaped serious injury after a nasty car crash in the Gold Coast hinterland overnight.

Emergency services were called to Tamborine Mountain around 6.20pm, following reports of the crash.

On arrival, it appeared a vehicle had crashed into a tree along Lahey Road.

Three people were assessed briefly at the scene, before all were taken to hospital for treatment.

They’re all believed to be in stable conditions at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
