Three hospitalised after Southport smash

Three people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Arundel this afternoon.

It’s understood three cars collided at the corner of Napper Road and Olsen Avenue just after 2.00pm.

Several emergency crews rushed to the scene, with paramedics treating three people for various injuries.


One person was treated for head and facial injuries, whilst two others suffered back pain.

The trio have since been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Two lanes on Olsen Avenue were closed to traffic following the smash, however they have since reopened.
