THREE people were taken to hospital last night following three separate crashes within an hour of each on the Gold Coast.
The first occurred on the M1 at Highland Park just before 6.30pm.
Queensland Ambulance said they came across the multi-vehicle crash on the Nerang south off-ramp.

One person was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
They were transported in a stable condition with neck and back pain.
Paramedics were then called to a second multi-vehicle crash on the M1, this time on the northern end of the Coast.
It happened in the southbound lanes at Pimpama about 7pm.
One person was transported to the Gold Coast Private Hospital with minor injuries.
Then, about 7.50pm, emergency services were called to a two vehicle crash in the southern suburb of Tugun.
One person was injured then the two vehicles came to grief on Toolona Street.
They were treated at the scene before being transported to the Tweed Heads Hospital in a stable condition.
