Three people have been hospitalised as a result of two separate car crashes in Pimpama overnight.
Emergency services were first called to the northbound lanes of the M1 just before 6.00 am, following reports that two cars were involved in an incident.
Two people were assessed at the scene but only one had to be taken to hospital for further treatment.

They’re understood to be at the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Hours later, paramedics – including the high acuity response unit – were called to a two car collision along Rifle Range Road.
It happened just before 1.00am, with two people requiring assessment there as well.
They were both taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
