Three hurt after car hits light pole and tree in Robina

Three people have been hurt in a serious crash at Robina late on Saturday night.

It’s believed they were in a ute that hit a light pole, a median strip and then a tree on Scottsdale Drive at around 11:20PM.

The driver, an 18-year-old man, and a male passenger were treated at the scene by emergency services.

They were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 17-year-old woman, believed also to be a passenger, was extracted from the wreckage by emergency services and taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
