Three injured in jet ski crash on Gold Coast

UPDATE @ 4.00 PM | Two teenagers have been hospitalised after a jet ski crash on the Gold Coast this afternoon.

It happened in waters off the Gold Coast Highway just before 2.00pm.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC the ski is believed to have run into some rocks.

Two boys and a girl, all aged in their teens, were assessed at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries.

Just two were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.

EARLIER @ 2.45 PM | Three people are being treated by paramedics following a jet ski crash on the Gold Coast this afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to Broadbeach just before 2.00pm, following reports a jet ski had run into some rocks.

It happened in waters off the Gold Coast Highway.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC two boys and a girl, all aged in their teens, are being assessed by paramedics.

They’re believed to have suffered minor injuries and are in a stable condition.

Got to have the gas on and thrust to turn. I ride my ski everyday to work and see alot of people who just don’t know how to ride. But somehow have a liscence to ride. Just today I saw a girl who ran her jetski a ground because she cut the corner and didn’t go around the markers at low tide.
