THREE people have spent the night in hospital following two separate traffic crashes on the Gold Coast.
Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Nerang just before 7pm.
The cars came to grief on the corner of Lawrence Drive and Nerang-Broadbeach Road.

Paramedics assessed three people at the scene but only two required transport to hospital.
Queensland Ambulance said one person was complaining of chest pain, while the other had minor injuries.
The pair was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
Meanwhile, a man was injured when he crashed his car into a parked vehicle in Mudgeeraba.
Paramedics were called to the scene on Swanton Drive just after 9pm.
They treated the man at the scene before transporting him to the Uni Hospital in a stable condition.
Queensland Ambulance said the man was complaining of neck and chest pain.
