Three injured in separate accidents on Gold Coast roads
THREE people have been hospitalised following a series of separate traffic accidents on the Gold Coast overnight and this morning.
The first crash happened around 6pm, when two cars collided at the intersection of Cypress Terrace and Seventh Avenue in Palm Beach.
One person was treated at the scene for minor injuries before being taken to Tweed Heads Hospital in a stable condition.
Just two hours later, paramedics were called to Molendinar following reports of a crash involving two cars on Harper Street and Southport Nerang Road just after 8pm.
One person, whose age and gender is not known, was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, emergency crews rushed to the intersection of Discovery Drive and Ashford Road in Helensvale this morning after receiving reports of a serious crash.
It’s understood a woman was able to get herself out of her vehicle which rolled around 6.30am.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
