Three motorists injured in spate of crashes

Three people have been hospitalised following a spate of crashes across the Gold Coast and hinterland overnight.

Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Beaudesert Beenleigh Road and Tamborine Mountain Road in Tamborine just before 9.30pm.

One person, a man, was treated at the scene by paramedics for rib pain before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

A few hours later, emergency crews were called back to Tamborine after a vehicle ploughed into a pole on Waterford Tamborine Road just before 3am.

A man aged in his 20s suffered leg and chest injuries and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition alongside Critical Care paramedics.

Meantime, just before 3.30am, a car rolled after losing control along Williamson Road in Upper Coomera.

One person suffered minor injuries and was taken stable to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
