Three injured, one seriously, in Gold Coast hinterland crash

THREE people have been taken to hospital, one of them in serious condition, following a serious single vehicle crash in the Gold Coast hinterland.

It’s understood the victims were all travelling in the same car which slammed into a tree on Springbrook Road at Springbrook shortly after 2pm.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC three females sustained head, shoulder, and abdominal injuries.


They have all since been transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

One of the patients is in a serious condition, while the two others are said to be listed as stable.

The patients’ ages were not immediately known.
