Three injured after truck wipes out car in NSW crash
A number of people have suffered multiple fractures following a crash involving a truck and car in Sydney’s west.
The accident happened on the corner of Berkeley and Hamilton streets in South Wentworthville just after 9am on Saturday.
It’s understood a truck slammed into the side of a car at speed, sending it spinning across the intersection.
The car came to rest in the front yard of a house following the collision, while the truck crashed head-on into a tree.
The driver of the car, a 46-year-old woman, was treated by paramedics at the scene for a suspected fractured pelvis.

She was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment, as was her passenger, a 17-year-old girl, who was complaining of abdominal pain.
The passenger of the truck, a 29-year-old man, was treated by paramedics at the scene for a suspected fractured leg before he too was taken to Westmead Hospital.
The truck driver, a 29-year-old man, was not injured.
He was subjected to a roadside breath test which returned a negative result.
