Three men charged after kangaroos tortured and killed

THREE men have been charged with the alleged torture and killing of two kangaroos in Western Australia.

The trio, aged 22, 26, and 28, were arrested overnight after police issued a major public appeal to track down those responsible for the sickening act of animal cruelty.


It’s alleged that on May 19, 2018 a kangaroo was burnt, shot with a firearm, spat on and kicked before being punched numerous times by a man wearing knuckle dusters.

It’s further alleged that on June 16, 2018 another kangaroo was stabbed with a knife over 20 times before it was kicked in the head.

The three men are due to face court today charged with Cruelty to Animals and Possession of Things Intended to Inflict Cruelty.
