THREE men have been charged with robbery and fraud after they allegedly stole a woman’s wallet in Southport and used her credit card on Monday morning.
Police say a 51-year-old woman was waiting to cross the road at the intersection of Scarborough and Nind streets at around 8am when she was targeted.
“A man, part of a group of three nearby, allegedly barged into her and stole her wallet from under her arm before rejoining the other two men who had entered a vehicle and the trio fled the scene,” police said in a statement.
