Three men facing charges over shooting death of Tyson Gay’s 15-year-old daughter

Three men face an October 25 court date, pleading not guilty to charges connected to the shooting death of Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay’s 15-year-old daughter.

Bail has been set at $US5000 ($A6558) each for 38-year-old Chazerae Taylor and his son, 19-year-old D’Markeo Taylor, on wanton endangerment charges.

Twenty-one-year-old Dvonta Middlebrooks, who was assisting police following the incident, has been charged with wanton endangerment and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His bail was set at $US12,500.

Trinity Gay was killed early on Sunday, after being caught in the crossfire of a shooting in the Cook Out restaurant carpark in Kentucky.

Lexington police believe Middlebrooks fired mutliple shots, while court records show the Taylors also admit to firing.
