Investigations are underway this morning, into a ram raid at a tobacco store on the Gold Coast.

A white Mitsubishi Outlander is believed to have reversed into the front of the store, smashing the glass.

Police say that three offenders then entered the business, but it’s still not clear exactly what was stolen.

The car was then found on fire along Kootingal Street in Ashmore a short time later.

The vehicle was stolen from an address in Southport about a month ago.

The offenders remain on the run, while the business owner is still trying to work out what was taken.
