A man was also assessed but declined transport.

Crews were then called to Broadbeach Waters about two hours later, following reports of another two-car crash.

It happened at the intersection of Bundall Road and Bermuda Street just before 8.00 pm.

A man in his 50s and a woman in her 20s were assessed at the scene, both taken to hospital for further treatment.

The man was experiencing some back pain and was taken to Pindara Private Hospital in a stable condition, while the woman was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Meantime, paramedics were then called to the Gold Coast Highway in Nobby Beach around 3.30 am, after a man was found unconscious on the side of the road.
