Three people hospitalised after separate Gold Coast crashes

A number of people have been hospitalised following multiple crashes around the Gold Coast this morning.

Paramedics were first called to Isle of Capri in Surfers Paradise just before 1.30am, following reports a car and a motorcycle had collided.

It happened along Via Roma, causing the motorcyclist to suffer head, arm and abdominal injuries.

He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Later on, emergency services were called to Southport, following reports of a single car crash.

A woman’s car had rolled over along Susanne Street just after 5.30am, causing her to suffer minor injuries.

She was taken in a stable condition to the Gold Coast University Hospital as well.

Paramedics were then called to the M1 northbound just after 6.00am, after a car crashed through a guardrail and up an embankment.

One person was assessed briefly at the scene, before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

M1 motorists are being warned of residual delays.
