Three teens accused of driving stolen car north of the GC

Three teenagers are accused of driving a stolen car in suburbs north of the Gold Coast.

It will be alleged at around 1:30pm on Tuesday police saw a car which had been stolen from Cornubia overnight being driven through Woodridge.

Police tracked the vehicle from Woodridge to Saint Patricks Avenue in Kuraby where the three occupants allegedly fled the vehicle on foot before being taken into custody by police.

A 15-year-old Inala girl has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, burglary and commit an indictable offence, driving without a licence and trespass.

A 14-year-old Yeronga boy has been charged with burglary and commit and indictable offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and trespass.

A 14-year-old Inala boy has been charged with burglary and commit an indictable offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and trespass.

They will all be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
