Three women and child hospitalised after truck and car crash, Gold Coast

Three people and a child have been taken to hospital after a truck and car collided on the southern Gold Coast this morning.

Emergency services were called to Tugun following reports of the crash just before 11.30am.

On arrival, paramedics report having to assess multiple patients, after a truck and car crashed on Coolangatta Road and Gold Coast Highway.


Three women and a child of unconfirmed age were then taken to Tweed Hospital for further treatment.

Queensland Ambulance were unable to confirm injury details, but say all four patients are in a stable condition.
