Tigers and Crows fans flood Melbourne ahead of AFL GF
The AFL is expecting tens of thousands of Richmond and Adelaide fans to swamp Melbourne over the next couple of days.
Victoria Police are concerned fans at Richmond’s open training session at Punt Road on Friday might spill onto surrounding roads and suburbs, causing major traffic issues.
AFL CEO, Gil Mclachlan has urged both Crows and Tigers fans to behave sensibly during the weekend festivities.
Richmond fans have been out in force since their beloved Tigers started their finals campaign.
Their most impressive display was during their win over GWS with an estimated 90 thousand strong Tiger Army at the MCG.

There will only be a few moments of silence during Saturday’s match, and the most anticipated one will be when Adelaide players do their now famous staredown during the national anthem.
