Tim Gilbert to replace Ben Fordham on The Today Show

CHANNEL Nine sports presenter Ben Fordham is set to say goodbye to the Today Show at the end of the year.

Yesterday his replacement was finally announced on Twitter, with Tim Gilbert to takeover the role.

Gilbert has worked with Channel 9 for almost 20 year, and is the current Weekend Today sports presenter.

Fordham congratulated Gilbert on twitter yesterday.
