Time and date for historic US/North Korean meeting revealed
The US President Donald Trump has officially revealed where and when he’ll meet North Korean Leader Kim Jong-Un in a historic summit.
The highly anticipated meeting will take place on June 12 in Singapore with President Trump expected to try and convince the North to abandon their nuclear program.
The announcement comes only hours after three Americans who had been held captive in a North Korean arrived in Washington.
The trio had been imprisoned in the Rogue Nation, and their release was a gesture of peace from the North ahead of the summit.
In his usual fashion, the President of the United States detailed the meeting on Twitter.
The highly anticipated meeting between Kim Jong Un and myself will take place in Singapore on June 12th. We will both try to make it a very special moment for World Peace!
