The horror brawl unfolded between two 37-year-old men at a bus stop along Wharf Street in the early hours of Friday morning.

“The man spoke to a second man, already waiting at the bus stop, before the pair were later involved in an altercation.
“During the altercation, the tip of the man’s nose was bitten off.”
Police were called and rushed to the scene where they were able to separate the pair and, fortunately, locate a piece of the man’s nose.
The victim was then taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he has since undergone reattachment surgery.
The other man was arrested and taken to Tweed Heads Police Station where he was charged with cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent.
He was refused bail and appeared at Tweed Heads Local Court yesterday.
